Train for it all - Lewis Ayrey

Train for it all - Lewis Ayrey

On Saturday, 18th October, Lewis Ayrey took part in his third IRONMAN70.3 triathlon race in Cascais, Portugal. With up to 15 hours of training every week, we've watched Lewis weather the storm to get race ready.

Clocking in at 5:04, Portugal saw Lewis gain a PB of over 24 minutes. With a busy but positive swim, the rolling hills of the bike course gave the new Canyon plenty space to perform before a PB Half Marathon finish.

The lead up to Portugal on the back of IRONMAN70.3 Swansea was far from ideal with Lewis also balancing a Masters degree and getting used to a new bike position. Combined with his working life as a coach and P.T., the hours training tend to come at the most unsocial hours, when most sleep.

With the 2026 goal set, Lewis is ready to continue proving there is no limit. And that's exactly what we're about.
